About the commercial event table (6')
Six-foot commercial tables, the kind that hold a full spread without flexing in the middle. Rated to 2,000 pounds, which is far more than you will ever put on one, and that is the point: they do not wobble.
One table seats six comfortably, eight if people are friendly. For food service rather than seating, most parties want at least two: one for the meal and one for drinks, cake, or a concession machine.
They fold flat and the legs tuck under, so they travel better than their size suggests, though the volume adds up faster than the weight does.
Count seating first, then add tables for the things that are not people. Food needs one. Drinks and dessert usually want their own so the line does not double back on itself. Any concession machine you are renting needs a surface of its own, because those units take up most of a table on their own.
